The Keyless entry on my 98 Honda Civic LX has the option to turn on/off the horn. If enabled, The horn honks once when you unlock the doors, and twice when you lock.

What I'd like to do, is rewire so that the parking lights flash, as opposed to the horn, But I have been unable to locate a wiring diagram for the green connector on the back of the OEM Stereo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

It would be easier to wire your parking lights to come on with your horn with a relay---

You can also wire it so it comes on only when the car is off. 2 relays.

 

Well, That would defeat my intentions. I don't want the horn to sound at all. It's loud and annoying.

Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the green connector (on the back of the OEM Radio) that controls the OEM Keyless Entry?

 

Get a meter, go to the radio, honk the horn, look for a (-) pulse when the horn goes off. Once you found the wire, thats it.

At the steering wheel column, the wires are

HORN TRIGGER|gray or blue |- |steering column

 

wierd on my 00, the parking lights flash but the horn doesnt sound unless the doors are already locked and u lock them again. and yes i agree with u the horn is annoying and maybe u should look at how a 00's keyless is wired and go from that. well good luck
