Clock / Deck Memory
when i bought my car, my clock reset every time i turned my car on and off. It would reset to 1:00 every time i turned it on. Also, i recently got a deck and the deck's memory doesnt work. Every time i turn on the car, i have to enter the security code i put on the thing went i got it 
is there some cable missing??? when i put it my deck, i noticed a few extra wires back there juz chillin. Maybe one of those?? Someone plz tell me which wre cuz both my clock and deck reset and its annoying as hell.

theres probably a white wire with a blue or yellow stripe that needs to be hooked to the yellow wire from your hu. as for the clock i dont wanna say because i havent messed with mine, hopefully someone else can help.

By taping the loose wires off, do u mean jus coverin the exposed ends with electrical tape? I have a couple unused wires comin off the head unit just hangin out back there at the moment. I remember hearin not to use electrical tape because the dash gets really hot and it will melt? Is it bad to leave the wires hanging there and can you use electrical tape to cover them?
