how much is it for an alarm remote. wat im trying to say is that i lost my only remote(python remote), and i want to know how much it would be at the local car alarm store and what processes they go through in finding the code. im thinking they just look at the alarm brain and find a code...some how. any replys plz

 

$5-10. Basically all transmitters are the same, so long as the frequency matches. They find out what type of alarm you have, python, clifford, etc.., and they get a new transmitter and reprogram it for u. Even you could it do urself! Don't go to Best Buy or Circuit City cuz they won't see it to you. Go to an independent alarm store. G'luck!
