Will this fit? (Double Din)

I wont have my car till Tuesday, but I was wondering if you cut that black piece below the factory head-unit, will a Double-din head unit fit, or is the top pocket, and the bottom pocket the same size?

The top pocket + bottom pocket = double din. Both are attached together and will come out together when removed.
