Default what's wrong? (i just upgraded OEM 6x9's)

I found some really old bostwick 6x9's (100W RMS, 180W max) and decided that they couldn't be any worse than the OEM pioneers I had in my '99 Accord coupe. this was basically a stock system with a kenwood x869 head unit and kenwood tweeters installed in parallel with the fronts.

After the change, I noticed that the mids and the treble coming from the back was definitely a lot clearer and crisper. However, it seemed that overall the bass is not as strong and thumpy as before... Why is this? Is it just because the 6x9's are crappy (the'yre probably like 10 years old) or because they're not getting enough power from the 22W RMS head unit??

You're not getting enough power for the 6x9's from the 22 watt RMS H/U... invest in an amp and you'll hear the bass you're looking for.
