Default getting a whole new setup (basically)

getting rid of my crummy sony amp, and my us acoustics amp, and my diy peerless comp setup and going with this
clarion dpx1000.2 (arc audio amp with weaker power supply)
nakamichi PA-504 amp to power my front stages (170 rms of pure power!)
looking at new comps- focal poly kevlar, jl xr, boston acoustics, or diamond hex.. (someone make a suggestion!)

With a good amp the alpines sound great. The 5 1/4 can really kick. With some of my other amps they didn't sounded harsh but the arc changed my mind about them. I love them now.
