Color Changing Headunits
Are there any good ones out there? I want to change the interior bulbs in my dash, but my HU is green. Are there any good HU's that color change?

panasonic has a color changing deck with ghostface...
it can change colors to your liking (2 models, both are touchscreens).
I considered this deck for a bit, but didn't like the idea of not having a volume knob...
hope that helps!

I just put the Sony CDX-CA810X in my wife's Civic. It has 7 different colors to select from. I'm really happy with the unit. It doesn't do MP3's but I wasn't looking for that option. Is about $190.

Firebane - I agree with you about the Xplod Amps (power ratings grossly misleading) and their speakers haven't gotten any raves either, but as far as the head unit, I can't really see any shortcomings. I've had Blaupunkt, Alpine, Sony, Panasonic, and Awia (as you can see, I have no real brand loyalty; but I also don't buy crap *Pyramid, Kraco, etc*) HU in the past and can't really complain about any of them.
This particular HeadUnit met all my needs and provided good specs. After having it in the car for several weeks now, I can't complain at all.
Perhaps you have had a different experience personally with an Xplod HU?

KENWOOD KDC-MPV7019
this is what i have.. you can choose from something like 60+ different colored backgrounds.. it plays mp3.. decent power (22x4w rms), and you can probably find it for like around $230 nowadays
