New head unit
I have an Alpine SBS-254f, it is an alpine 5 channel amp attatched to a 10 in alpine sub ina sealed MDF enclosure.
it is 25 x 4 RMS and 80 x 1 RMS for the sub
the one problem with it, is that it uses high level inputs only
Because of that is is amping the already amped output from my JVC SX 870 headunit (big piece of S***) and I get distorted sound at any higher level of volume.
I have Infinity Refrences all around (5 1/4 up front, 6.5 in back).
what head unit should I get that has a very very clean signal leaving it? I would like to stay under $250 or as close to that while still getting clean sound.

Yea invest in Kenwood. They have some really good specs and i'm sure you'd enjoy wut Kenwoods can do for ur system. Don't waste your money with a MP3 player HU. It just cost a whole lot more if u want a hella good Kenwood MP3 player
