overall.. they sound great, really loud when i turn it up. all highs though. installing my sub and other amp later this week.

i paid 250 for the CD-1E v2.'s, 50 to install them.

clearance is fine. that picture makes it look like they are right on top of them, but they arent. the waveguide is pretty much above my shins when i sit down. once in a while my left shin hits the waveguide when i push in the clutch, but very rarely.

you should try to get that passenger side to be parallel with the floor board, it definitely shouldn't be angled that way.

It looks like the bodies need to be trimmed down to get them further under the dash as well.

Who did you have install them? An ID dealer? How did they mount them to the car? I can't see any brackets or screw holes on the actual horn bodies. Just wondering.

Glad to hear that you like them - and don't EVER call lthem tweeters!!!!
