Hello all...I own a '97 Honda Accord EX, and for several years now, the stereo (factory w/cassette and rear CD changer) has been giving me problems. When I'm using the CD player, especially during warmer weather, the right side speakers stop working nearly altogether. They sometimes go on and off randomly. I'm not sure if it's a short or what, because I can hear a soft, static-y sound from the right side when this happens. When it's cooler outside, the stereo usually works ok. I've heard that this is a somewhat common problem in Hondas. I don't have enough knowledge of electronics and wiring to do much about it at this point. Have any of you had this same problem with a factory system? If so, what did you do to fix it?
