1 12 inch would be good...all you really need is a little bump unless you want people driving next to you to listen to what your listening to.

go with a 12", but I wouldnt get that polk momo sub, theres much better to be had in the same price range, especially if you're buying online.

I love my pair of 12s

perfect

I dunno, one 12 wouldn't be enough for me, but I need to feel the bass in order to be happy.

I have one JL12W6V2 in a ported box being fed a JL 500/1 amp and it's loud as hell. It's much, much louder then people's two 12", two 10", etc. setups. The only downfall is that JL is expensive, most people spend what I paid for just my sub, for their whole system.

The momo sub should be plenty if you get an amp strong enough to drive it. Whe I installed my system, I dind't know about the momo\polk sub, I also dont want to spend like $350 on a single sub. I have 2 10" sony P5's, 2200W peak for both and I'm sunning them with a Rockford 1000W peak amp and it's more than enough.

I've also got a W6V2, except mine is a 10". Kicker 550.3 pushing JL XR 6.5" components up front (65 x 2) and the 10W6v2 (400 Class D)

I paid $215 for the sub, $449 for the amp and like $100 for a custom enclosure, which is being returned.

I'm going for the JL 300/4 and the 500/1 and the 10W7 in a sealed box.

edit: I've got a Clarion Pro Audio MP3 head unit (DXZ835MP) & dynamat on the doors
