help! what kind of wires do i use?

Default PICTURE PROVIDED, PLEASE HELP!



hi i just got an amplifier and sub. this is my first time installing a system and i need some advice.

i purchased a monoblock sony 1000 wattts 1 ohm stable amp and a kicker solobaric l5 15 inch DVC 2 ohms.

what kind of wires [wire size 4 gauge? 12 gauge?] to i use for
the gray wires
the green wires
the blue wires

also, can someone describe how to connect a capacitor to this? i know a cap has two terminals, but which one do i connect to what?

gray- 12-14 gauge
green- 12-14 gauge
blue- 4/2 gauge, i think 4 would be ok.

some people like to ground the cap and the amp at the same spot.
