I'm running a pair of PPI 12" C1 subs in a sealed box, 4 ohm subs wired to 2 ohms, using a Kenwood mono amp rated for 300 watts at 2 ohms and i'm impressed. i bought the pair of subs last year on ebay, price with shipping came to $126. granted, i've got them in a chevy blazer, so i don't know how they'd sound if they were stuffed into a trunk, but i was showing off the system to an old friend over the weekend....threw in a System Of A Down Cd and he said his hair was tingling. good bang for the buck right there.

I've seen lately that the PPI C2 subs on ebay are going for just a little bit more than i paid for the C1 subs. they have a slightly higher sensitivity rating, i think a full db. not a bad price on them and they sound pretty good.

Pioneers absolutely kick butt - cheap and well built. We install alot of them in just about any type of box.
