yeah i was trying to decide between that one and the 7995. Both are pretty good, but I think I am leaning more towards the 7995 because of the looks, more clean IMO. But anyway, check out these links:

Onlinecarstereo.com
audio-n-more.com
savingslots.com

And of course good ol eBay!

Yeah I thought about that too but then I was thinking, they said you can get "clean sound delivery" to your amp when you use the DC-DC converter on the 7995. I guess I wanted to try that out. Really I think it comes down to the styling and coor, if the 9815 was silver and blue like the 7995 then I think it would hands down win my decision.

After comparing prices extensively, I found that EBAY seems to have the best deals. Local Audio stores and Crutchfield seem to be very overpriced (but good for researching information).

Default Alpine CDA-9815 ?

Yeah man,

I've been searching for an Alpine CDA-7897 or CDA-9815, but
I only can see Ebay have the best price to buy anything !!!!
at least $75-$100 less than any other web store.
Has anyone installed these new 2003 alpine units out there yet?

If you want warranty, then you will have to pay the difference.
If you want to take a chance and save some money then eBay.

Simple as that.
