Default Way to improved FM reception?

I have just purchased an '87 Prelude with stock radio. I can't receive FM reception half as well as I could in my old '82 Accord (I live about 75 miles from San Francisco). Are there devices that will improve reception? Will a radio out of a newer Prelude work better than the existing radio?

Getting a radio out of a new prelude will help only so much. Is there anything wrong with the antenna on ur car right now? Bent, broken etc? Is the connection behind the radio, HU, secure? If everything seems fine, you might want to go with a powered antenna. Their ranges are a whole lot better than factory antennas.

You can purchase a powered antenna on ebay, your local car stereo store or even alot of automotive stores will actually have them in stock.
