You should not need anything more than what came with the unit. I have one of the models above that and it fits perfect. Make sure you are putting it in correctly.

I should add that your unit is 4mm deeper than mine so I don't see why you are having a problem.

stock radio covers the gap.... u know, aftermaker radio sits inside the opening, while stock is flush with the rest of the console making it look more like one piece

You're not going to find any aftermarket unit that sits flush like the stock unit does.

Get crafty and do a little custom work if you need to have it as close to flush as possible.

Any "flush" mount that you attempt with an aftermarket unit will not look right because the faceplate pertrudes too much, that's why they don't make kits like that. It would look terrible.

I wish I had a picture of my deck. It's pretty flush. You need to get the trim for that deck and make sure that it is mounted right.
