Sound quality is great in my car. Better than most other units I've heard. But I did have 2 Sony's previous to this one (crap) and a Kenwood that played MP3's as well (decent). This one takes the cake though.

Well I had two of them, the first one broke (idiot gf PUSHED the CD door in breaking the motor on it). I paid $350 for the first one through a special deal my job had with Sony, but on the 2nd one I paid full price for it ($1000). With this head unit there is no internal amp so you have to buy one so add another $500 to that cost, installation for it was close to $300 (they had to install the new amp and had to move the old amp around to make it fit) because the HU is a little too deep for my dash so they did some fancy work with that.

All in all the sound quality is GREAT, haven't really had a person step in my car that didn't say it sounded really good. The only other thing that I need to do is get some Dynamat because from outside the car it sounds terrible from the bass.

Here's a few more pics of it:

looks tight but for that price i'd prolly buy and eclipse (4 8volt preamp outputs) and a spankin amp, for 400 i can get a nice 1000watt

It's a chrome face. I bought that HU because I wanted a unit that plays MP3's and I liked the fact that it has a full color TFT display. I also like that it has an AUX input for audio so when I add my TV and PS2 I can hear sound through the unit itself. ANd thatn of course there's the pimp factor in it.
