Blown Amp?
I wired up an amp to my subs and everything worked and then i think the power chord touched something it wasnt supposed to and it blew all of the fuses. now when all of the wires are in it makes a high pitched noise and i dont know how to fix it. I hope that i didnt blow the amp, If you know what to to please tell me
let me add to what happened. the rear 6x9's and the front 4x6's play off the HU, and the subs off the amp. the subs and 4x6's dont play at all, but the 6x9's have the high pitch coming out of them.
that right brandon?
that right brandon?
Yeah-
I think rewiring the whole thing or re-checking/re-doing ALL the connections is needed here...there is also a possibility that the HU fried its output stages as well.
Good Luck

Try using a different amp (Temp) and see if the noise is still there..If not then its the AMP if its STILL there then its the HU AND the AMP since there is NO output from your sub (which is connected to the SUB).
