Wierd Pulsing Light Problem ??
Hey,
I just recently noticed that my headlights and lights in my dash have begun to sporadically "pulse" -- increasing briefly in brightness then going back to normal. It's really strange.
I'm wondering if I possibly screwed up the wiring of my indiglos, but I did that a year ago and think I would have noticed the problem earlier.
Could it be my battery? But, the lights on my CD player aren't doing this, just the headlights and the lights in my dash.
Anyone heard of this before or have ideas what could be wrong? I'm a loss as to what to do.

I really have no clue If the alternator was going, would I notice problems in starting my car?
(I've just heard that when people have problems starting, the alternator is always blamed)
O, and the battery is only a couple months old, so I wouldn't think that would be the source of the problem.

Do you see a battery light.. or alt light on your dash..?
Most times the alt will start will not be the source of your car's power and the battery will be forced to discharge... causing brightening and dimming of the lights from the inability of the alt from doing it's job.
If the battery is new the engine will start normally.

yeh, the car is starting fine, and no alt light has ever come on.
I was just noticing tonight, it even pulses when I'm at a stoplight. It's really bizarre, and I would venture to say it's getting worse (or maybe I'm just noticing it more).
The car's probably going to explode...

If you can... get a local mechanic to run a electrical diagnostic test on the car.. thet would rule out any alt/battery issues...
I can't help you beyond this.. good luck!

You might have a loose ground from back when installing your indiglos. Im not saying it was loose back then but going over bumps and stuff recently could have jolted a wire out of place.

Had the same problem, but when my car idled my lights kinda pulsed with the idle, the higher the rev the faster the pulse, it was fuse 15...check fuses if this is the problem
