Default Kicker Powered Substation

Does anyone have or has anyone heard the Kicker Substation?
If so, how hard does it hit?

Most of the time the powered substations use weak amps and do not fully power the sub. It's better to save your money and buy a non-powered sub and a good quality amp. Check out some of the d-class amps for the most bang for the buck.

Or go with the infinity basslink, 200 watt D-class amp built in.

I highly doubt the Infinity will kick any harder than the Kicker substation....

These systems are designed for people who are on a budget, who do not know much about car stereo, and who want quick drop-in style bass. They are not designed for any kind of SQ or SPL competition. They will all sound very similar, so an Inifity basslink will not be killing a Kicker powered substation or vice versa. Besides, if you compare the 2 companies, I'd say that Kicker is a far better maunufacturer (quality & reputation) of car audio that Infinity.
