Default Need Help Tuning my Amp....

I have one Kenwood KAC-729S 600 watt amp powering one 15 in MTX 6,000 series sub in my car. I got to looking at it and now have a couple questions. On the side of the amp there is a OPERATION switch with two choices, stero and mono. Since i only have one sub should i turn this to mono? Also, it has a filter on it. Is it best to have the filter turned on or off?? Thanks!!!

INFO ON THE AMP

It should be Mono for your sub.

A couple question for you though: You're running your amp in bridged mode right?? What's the filter for (there's nothing about a filter in Crutchfield's description)??

If it's bridged, then it's already set to mono.

It actually wasn't set to mono. It is now though. I turned both the mono option and the filter on.
