Default DEI Competition

has anyone heard of these subs? i did a search and didn't really find anything. i was going to buy these from a friend. they are 2 12" and the box and an amp. i was just wondering how they would sound. he said they hit pretty hard but does anyone know from experience? all help would be appreciated.

yes im getting two of them. they are some of the best subs out there.

DEI? Are those viper subs? Like the ones that bought out PPI?

viper is a part of DEI, DEI is the parent company, they are also the parent company to A/D/S so just think about how much people stand by those amps! these subs SPL and SQ and one of the best levels i have ever seen!

Yeah they own a/d/s, PPI, and also Orion. I can't see how bad they can be.

a/d/s/ and directed amps/components share no technology though.

ADST used to be the parent to a/d/s/, orion, and PPI. Then Directed Electronics purchased ADST.

Basically, you can't equate an a/d/s/ amp to anything that Directed makes.
