I don't know much about Cobra other than my father had one and they have a semi-big brand name.
I have seen lots of reviews comparing lots of radar detectors, most name brands... except one... Valentine. Their Valentine ONE radar/lazer detector has beaten all others in practally all catergories. It wins hands down, every time. Out of 8 reviews I've read about it the past year, it's been recomended #1...every time. I've heard from friends that know people that have them, always a good review. Personally, I'll be skipping the name brands and going with this company I've nerver heard of.
However... they are $350-400...

does anyone know anything about the radar jammers?
I know they are not worth the money

passport 8500 if you're a cheapass like me, some folks swear by the V1, had one, now have an 8500, like the 8500 better.. although the V1 supposed has better laser visibility(better FOV)
