Default Some help please?

Right now, I'm in the planning stages of upgrading my system in my civic. I'm toying between two decks....the Alpine 7894 and the Pioneer P7400MP. Of the two, which two do you guys think is better? I'm also probalby just gonna get a little bazooka 100 watt bass tube just as a suplement. I know the Alpine needs to be hooked up to the battery to run the internal amp. If I was to hook the alpine deck, the bass tube, and my PIAA fog lights up to the battery, if I had them all on at once, would there be a big drain? Would my headlights dim or anything? Would I need a capacitor? I don't really want to get involved with that, so if thats the case, I might just go with the Pioneer. If I was just running the fog lights and the bazooka, it should be ok, right? Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't think you would have a problem i run two 250 watt amps, deck, eq even with the headlights on at night i have never noticed any dimming. I don't think a little bazooka would draw enough current to do anything. It takes a fair amount of power before you start to run into problems. imo

With that setup you will be fine. The bazooka doesn't require alot of power, especially the ones with the built in amp.

On that note, I am selling a bazooka, just email me or reply if your interested.

Like the others said, you'll be fine... When you push over 1000 watts, then we'll start worrying....

ok, cool...thanks guys. Now on another note, what do you guys think about those decks? Which one do you think is better? The Alpine has some serious specs, so I think thats what I'm kind of leaning toward.

You can get the infamous headlight dimming when running well below 1000 watts. I am only running about 500 watts max on my system(approx 50 amp draw at max) and my alternator is new, as is my battery and my headlights dim when it's up pretty loud and the bass is up. My next step is a high output alternator.

Between the deck, the sub, and the foglights, it would only be about 200 watts draining off the battery, so it shouldn't be that bad, right?
