Head Unit...
I am looking for a head unit for my car and i was considering this one:

*edit* Also how does this one compare:
http://www.crutchfield.com/cgi-bin/S...fo&i=023MP3000
How is this? Also, it says that it can play mp3's, does it load them fairly quickly.
Can you put folders on a mp3 disc, for example with different artists having their own folder and then thier songs within it?
Thanks.

nope i have nothing. Right now i have the six disc changer which came with my car, but it has been getting discs stuck in it. I took it to this place and the guy said the shock mounts or somehting like that were wearing out.
So i want to get a head unit, nothing over 260 but something nice, hopefully that is able to play mp3's. Any suggestions on specific models or anything?

LOL, j/k I'm in the same situation right now too. I wanna get the in dash DVD. I have the Pioneer DEH-P4000 by the way, I love it though.
I did check out what you want though, and by the price ranges you are looking at the only brands in your range are Aiwa, Clarion, JVC, or Sony (Crutchfield) - I don't know much about them. If you could stretch it a little I would say get the Pioneer 7400.

Get the Pioneer. You can't go wrong with it unless you get a lemon. I have the Premier version of it and I'm content. SoundDomain is selling it for 229 right now. But in case, the special is over, there are plenty of other places that sell it for waay below that 260 budget of yours. I bought mine for 245 and the place I bought it from was selling the regular one for 235.
