Default Accord Sound System Advice?

I have recently purchased a 2003 Accord Coupe EX V6 non-navi. I started out by replacing the stock 6 1/2's and 6x9's with higher quality Alpine speakers. These speakers are much clearer and hit the mids and highs quite well but still don't have quite the bass punch I'm looking for, and I would like to hook up a wiring kit and install an amplifiar/subwoofer if possible. I am new to this so my question will be, with the stock head unit will I be able to wire this vehicle up for an aftermarket amplifiar/subwoofer because replacing the head unit would be expensive and a procedure I would prefer not to do. Hopefully someone with experience in this will see this post and be able to tell me if my system is compatible to be wired up for a Sound System.

Yes. You can get the amp to draw the signals from the rear speakers. You will need line converter like http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...42SLC4&tp=1276

Your amp will get the signals from the speaker wires instead of directly from the headunit (which may not have an RCA output).
