Default Alpine Type R and Fosgate 350s amp?

Hi, I'm getting 1 12" Alpine Type R and was wondering if that Fosgate 350s would be sufficient enough for the sub? Thanks.

Good combo... the type R subs can handle a TON of power, so if you want even more sound, and you can afford the extra $50, i'd step up to the 450s... or check crutchfield, they have the older models on sale...

Rockford makes a good amp for bass... they take a real beating and keep on going.

what's the RMS power of bd1000 and is it 2ohm stable?
if it produces more than 400w RMS at 2ohm then it's enough for ONE 12 type R

then i think you can run 2 12" type r with no short of power if space is not a concern

I think i'm gonna get the 250m mono amp from fosgate. The guy at the store said that will be more than enough. The Sub pounds, i heard it hooked up to the 500 watt amp and that rattled the air vent inside the room with the bass on 0 on the hu.
