Actually even the 2002 models are negative triggers on the BMW's. The biggest problem with them on newer models in the 5 and 7 series is you may have to go into the door to get the wires at the module. Most require a double pulse on the unlock wire but that all in the programming of the alarm. Fiber optics havent really made an issue yet, but when they do, it will be FUN FUN FUN...
