I hooked up xm radio to my Alpine IVA-D900. Will I get any sound from it until I activate it? From what Ive heard the preview channel should work without activation but all i get is a buzzing sound. It is hooked up through my amp. I tried hooking it up directly to the head unit but its the same thing. I know I have that little switch on the Alpine that goes from normal to Amp/Equ. Is it not working because i have the switch on Amp/Equ?
