Default speaker problem- 2 work, 2 don't

I have 4 speakers in my car. the front drivers side one works and the rear passenger side one works.

The rear drivers side doesn't work at all. and the front passenger side works but is VERY VERY quiet.

I've replaced the wire going to the ones that don't work. and I've used known working speakers in their spots to test. any other ideas? I've been switching between two OEM Acura head units. neither of which i am sure works flawlessly.

anybody heard of anything like this, or have any ideas?

If you've traded for known working speakers, replaced the wire, than yes. I don't see much else that could be the problem
