Default 2007 MDX Navi DVD

I just bought a 2007 MDX fully loaded and heard that there may be a way to allow the DVD player to play through the NAV system in the front. Has anyone heard how this can be done? I also have a Cadi Escalade and there is a chip I bought to do the same. Haven't found the same for the MDX though. Any thoughts?

How do you plug in a secondary DVD player to show up on the NAV screen?

Why do you need to have a DVD playing while your driving?? This is something I've never understood. Driving is dangerous enough, adding a second large distraction like this is just asking for trouble.

Unless you have something useful/helpful to say, leave your opinions out. First, the MDX is one of the few cars that allow the passenger to have full view of the NAV without it being tilted toward the driver. So, therefore the DVD player can be viewed by the passenger. Also, not that I need to explain, but the center passenger of the second row has to look almost stright up at the DVD screen. If it were playing on the NAV, they could relax their neck and look forward. Did that help MOM?

Nope, it's still illegal no matter how you plan on justifying it. It's a stupid thing to do, no matter how you look at it.

I'll pay it if they actually bust me. Cops in this neck of the woods are very cool. I know most of them by name. Hence the screen name......

i dont remember the exact name, orwho sells it off the top of my head, but its some kind of unit that taps into the video feed to the nevi screen... so you can plug in any outer video source, like a dvd player.

i'll post back when i remember it.
