Default Is optima the best?

Looking to get an optima battery.
Is it worth the money......do you really get THAT much of a gain,
is it the best for car stereo?
Before I go and spend 180-230 on a car battery I wanted to get peoples opinion.
So go at it.
Thanks,
xcitor

screw optima - nothing special imo and I've owned my fair share. I just get a good, name-brand, battery now-a-days.

The only car audio specific batteriers I would consider are Odyssey.

Well I dunno about the whole "skrew the optima battery" opinion. I've heard good things about them and if i'm not mistaken I believe the yellow top is the high end model.

It's their deep cycle, never heard a complaint about it. If you can get it for a good price, go for it!

x2. ive heard that a lot as well. i've owned 3 in the last year. one new and two beat up ones, i was probably the third owner, never ran into a problem once. dont know if it's user error or luck.
