Cannot open my old Civic doors due to attempted theft.

I can climb in from the hatchback, can anyone advise whether I can get at the mechanism from inside the door panels?

You can if you can take the panel off. But you cant do it with the door closed. I think it might be best to let a professional do it. I will copy this to the Civic forum.
