here's your problem: you got a pyle hu as in a pyle of shit. sell it and get your jvc back in there

but really, if there is only one preout on the hu it will be for rear spearker, so whatever you change on the rear speakers will change the sub also.

I havn't changed anything on the rear speaker. The only reason i bought pyle is because it had bluetooth.

Ditto that. the rca output on the pyle unit is not the same as the jvc. Thats one of the reasons you are having this problem. Does the new unit have a sub output on the radio? if so turn the sub volume up. I can not find the pyle website. I'll find out more about the radio when I make a trip to my vender.

http://www.pyleaudio.com/itemdetail....del=PLCD70MUBT . The thing is that it has an "optional sub out", but I don't know what that means since there is only one set of RCA jacks.

ok, the way this hu works, with only one preout is like so, as long as there is not dedicated sub output:

the RCA output is really for a rear speaker amp.

this means that when you are playing a cd or listening to the radio, if you fade more to the rear speakers not only will more sound come from the rear speakers, the subs will also be louder

this also means that if the bass is set low on the hu for the rear speakers, it will also be low for the sub. now if this hu dosen't have an independent bass and treble setting, and only its rock, jazz, classical crap seriously get rid of it and get a nice alpine hu
