Default Alarm install

hey guys, tried doing a search but couldnt find anything.

I just bought an alarm for my car (2000 civic)

is it hard to install and wire up or should I just take it somewhere and get it done.

well its kind of hard to say. For me its a cat walk. But for you no one can answer that because we don't know your mechcanical skills or paitence. Do you have the right tools? Digital voltage meter,local tools? Never use a test light. If you are asking this question I would look at taking it somewere and having it done. No need to burn out anything and end up paying more. Also throw a backup battery on that alarm. Remember a alarm is as only good as the install. Here is a write up that we have on ht. Read it and see if you are up to it
