Recently I had a minor accident that required replacement of my battery. When I got the car back, I found out the repair shop lost my key. They took it to a Honda dealer and got a new one made for me, but now my second key no longer works in the ignition. Does anyone know how to reset the key codes without going back to the dealer to have this done? The repair shop has offered to do the work, but I have to leave the car for a day and deal with the hassle. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

 

it can't be done without a fresh key and a code machine. some locksmith's have the machine and can come to you and do it in 15-20 minutes
