Default Indash tv suggestions

I was wanting a 6.5" or a 7" monitor but since I have a Auto tranny the shifter is really close to my head unit. Any ideas on how I can fit one. My wife works at Circuit City and Im going to let them install it....I cant because it voids the extended 3 year warranty CC offers. Has anyone else had this problem or does anyone else have a pic of their installed unit or similar.

The unit Im getting http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pione...oductDetail.do

Have you allready bought it, try getting a double din. You could allways close it before you put the vehicle in park.

well if you car fits size D radios then get a size D radio.
If you have a double din opening get a double din radio.
you might also have to get that radio kit so it fits perfect.
what car is this going into?

What kind of car do you have? And if you install it it does not void the extended warranty if you choose to buy it. I also work at Circuit City in the Car Audio dept, been there for 3 years. Do you want Nav with your unit? There is a double din dash kit for honda's, i think it is the MET 997861. Use that and install is a sinch. If you get nav though, you will need to run a speed sense wire into your engine bay. If you have any other questions, lemme know.

Its going into my 96 Prelude Si. It has an auto trans and the shifter when in park is really close to my cd player. I mean in park I can barely get a cd into it. Honda really phucked up on this design. I want a indash tv so bad. I guess Im going to install a monitor on the dash and a indash dvd player FTL.
