Default Seatbelts/dashclock not working after cd player installation

so i put a new sterio in my 91 accord and now the dasclock and seat belts aren't working i need to get this thing inspected in a few days so i'm screwed if i can't get this fixed. someone help me, please

When something all of a sudden stops getting power.....best thing to do is to check the fuse. It is only a matter of looking under your dash and under your hood.

that was actually the first thing i did, all the fuses seemed fine, i even took it to a shop but and they said all the fuses were ok

did you check for the fuses under the dash?

are you sure u wired the radio the right way? did you use a harness? if so did you hook up the orange wires at all?

yeah i'm pretty sure i hooked it up right i had a diagram that i followed for manual. i can't remember about the orange wire though i'll have to check, could that be all?

correct me if i'm wrong, but usually the orange wire is the dimmer wire? what does that have to do with anything?

im havin the same type of problem, 92 accord, after hookin up the cd player, my dash clock resets to 1:00 after i shut off the car, also i lose my radio settings.

Check your fuses. One is blown.

If this wire is connected incorrectly, it can cause the fuse for the dash lights to blow.
