Default Best Subs for amp

amp specs:

250W x 2-Ch @ 4-Ohms or
500W x 2-Ch @ 2-Ohms or
1000W x 1-Ch @ 4-Ohms

it was given to me and i want to match up with the best setup.

i would like 2-12's or 1 12.. i would like a 12.

my old setup was a JL 15 w0 with a bridged small crossfire 50.2 amp. 180x1 watt bridged and it hit pretty hard. hoping for a harder hitting setup.

thanks.. been a while since ive been here

are you really set on getting 12s? you could probably find a good set of 10s and will be more than able to handle 500w each. plus they could take up less space... which is a plus.

WIth so much more power, itll be much louder. If you have 1000 watts to play around with, I would go with a nice set of 12s. Your wallet limits you. How much did you want to spend on subs?

if you want one sub go with a Alpine type X 12, that is if that amp will put out 1000rms at a 4ohm load, if so make sure you get a DVC 2ohm a coil and wire in a series

thats like 600$ for just the sub...plus the box would have to pretty large for the correct airspace...if you got the funds go for it...that would be an awsome set-up...
