Can I Change Dash Light Color???
Heya Guys,
How we doing all? Good i hope... The other day i was driving at night and thought to myself what it'll look like to have blue interior dash instead of the stock amber lights!!!
Would anyone here know how to change the interior dash color to blue or something else... Would it be just changing the little light bulbs behind the cluster or changing the whole face of the dash??? And also gotta change the lights behind the middle dash where the heater and setting are!!!
Thanks for your help in advance guys.
Johnny.

Hey b00gers,
Thanks for your response but is the dash color behind the plastic like an amber film or are the bulbs amber??? Cos if the bulbs are amber that will be easy and the only hard thing will be the middle dash where you have to remove the whole lower parts but if the film is amber then forget it... it will take ages! Hmmmm... dont know what to do!
Thanks,
Johnny.

I am sure it has a bit to do with the film. When I took my dash apart, the bulbs were clear. I swapped in some blue "hyper" bulbs and the color looked much more white.
But the OEM bulbs are clear, not amber.

Too bad you cant get "black light" bulbs for this situation. paint everything in sight with a special black light paint and you'd have an original . Does my age show? .
Its this kind of thinking from guys like me that shoud stir you away from drugs ...Jack
