I just tested my SPL level today and at normal volume(what I usually listen to it at) max at 126dB.

So what's your car audios SPL level?

my max was 131 on a 100 hz burp


you can buy a db meter from radio shaq for 20 bucks i think

How high do they go? I dont think it would go up to the 130-140 range.

Which meter is this? I think the last time I checked, they didn't have anything accurate over 130 db. I couldn't find anything accurate over 130 for under $100.

My installers Explorer hits around 160db. It breathes for you.

you can buy one really cheap that reads under 130 it will also go over 130 but it's not that accurate. What steup does your installer have, mines just all around rockford fosgate 325.1 amp and 2 p1 12's

but older and then up to 145

Before my stuff was stolen...

137.9 @ 53hz on the TermLab

eD 16ov2 1.6 sealed
eD NINe.1 @ 2 ohms

back when i had my 2 JL W3 12s and jbl bp600.1 amp i hit 143.3 db in a vented enclosure in my civic
