Big 3
So i'm updating the big 3 in my 2001 accord ex 4 cyl. What would be the amount in feet i would need to replace the existing wireing. and do i need to get special ends for the wiring also?
Pop open the hood of your car. Take out your measuring tape. Measure from:
Negative Battery - Chassis
Engine - Chassis
Alternator - Positive Battery
Then add a few more feet in case you mess up.
-You need 6 ring terminals: 2 on the battery, 2 on the chassis, 1 on the engine block, and 1 on the alternator. You might want to get a few more in case you mess up :hs:
For the alternator to the postive battery, some people dont replace by add a whole new wire. If you are adding a new wire, be sure to fuse it near the battery.
-You might also want to do a search, I remember this topic being covered including a set of pictures.
