Default sound system is possessed.

Ok, so the other night I went to my friends house. He was there installing his system in his car. Very simple install. Now the next day we were in his car and his radio turned off and then back on by itself. Prior to that he had the same setup. All he did was tape the wires down etc... ( wire dressup I guess )
Now we didnt hit a bump when the radio turned off and then on.
Road condition has no effect on this. Seems like something may not be grounded right. It doesnt do it often. It would do it say two times in one day at different intervals. Everything shuts off, radio & amp. I know he has a 12v relay for his game controller thing. Im thinking that he may of accidentally connected the turn on lead to the relay wrong.
The turn on lead going to the relay is the remote turn on lead for the amps.
He is leaving out of town tonight and he really is counting on me to see if us knowledgeable Han'ers can assist.

1. Same radio and amps have been in his car. This never happend until he decided to tidy the wires. Unless the ground wire for the relay was connected somewhere else?
