My PowerMouse is tight!!
Just got my powermouse dual 10" box, amps,HU, and mids and highs from Bass mechanic. I had to post a thread to brag on his stuff. This all went in my 2000 Chevy blazer( alot of room for two 10's to fill with bass). First off, the box is amazing. It's extremly solid and very well built. You can just see all the detail that went into this thing just by lookin at it. It has to a 400 watt class D amp and a 125 watt 4 channel amp mounted on the front, with glass covers that light up. My friend (who installed car stereo's for two years, had a prize winning system in his old car, and helped me with the install), said he could tell it would hit hard and sound great just by looking at it. Well when I finally got everything installed and got the amps adjusted all I can say is D@@mmnnnn!!! Man my stuff HIT'S. This setup hits so hard, and deep but is always clean and crisp. My friend, who always is riding with a guy who has 3 JL audio 15's in a Chevy Tahoe, got in my blazer and said he didn't know which system hit harder. I've sat in a few car's with good system's (10's, 12's and 15's) and this is one of the best and loudest sytem's I've heard. And one of my favorite things is that people that dont even know what subs are, look at my box and think it's tight just becuase of how good it looks. Bass mechanic really hooked me up. Got me a sweet HU, mids and highs, all for cheap and wired as much as possible before shipping to me(this my first attempt at installing any stereo). He took about a dozen "how do I do this" calls from me and always answered and helped me out. I want to recomend his product's and service's to everybody. PM me for more infor if you want. Sorry for such a long post.

That's not cheap... Add on a sweet HU, mids and highs and I still don't think it would be considered cheap.Oh well, to each his

LMAO! YEA I GOT 2 JL 12'S in the back of my hatch! I just put them in tonight.... They are powered by a JL 500/1 mono block! AND BIATCH! THER IS NO WAY IN FAWKING HELL THAT 2 10'S ARE HITTING HARDER THAN MY SH1TS!
First off, I never said the powermouse was cheap, I said that I got my HU, mids and highs for cheap. And second, I was just like you, seth90dx, I thought there was no frikkin way 10's could come near 12's, let alone 15's (and I aint your feakin son). But Bassmechanic knows his stuff. He's been working with car stereo's for like 15 yrs. The subs are custom made to his specs. The have 3" diameter voice coil. 2" peak cone travel, and twenty pound magnets. And no, the guy with three 15's had his crap professionaly installed. Man, there is even people on this board who can back me up on this. But, if you don't believe me or them, go to the website and read the testimony's. Go to rmscaraudio.com But, until you hear one of these thing's, You don't know what you're talkin about and you can't say I'm bs.

Hey seth, i told you this before about a week or two ago. when you have attitiude like this you will never learn anything in caraudio. why don't you want to admidt to the fact that you don't know it all yet?
there are a lot of things about caraudio you could learn from. you seem to have no problem expressing your opinion openly in here. that is good that you have your own opinion but maybe you should consider for a moment that there is possibly someone with a pair of 10's that hits harder than your JL setup. i know nobody wants to admidt that what they spent their money on is not as good as somthing else. but as i told you before your experience in caraudio is very small compared to the whole world of mobile electronics. there are so many things you don't understand about subwoofers. i have been doing this over 15 years, i have designed this box and have a patent for it. and i still learn things all the time. it's not just the size of the sub or the power you run with it. there are MANY more box designes that are a lot more efficient than your setup. this box happens to have about 6-8 db gain in efficiency over your setup. BELIVE IT!
i did not put the words into this guys mouth. these are his own actual personal experiences. he is not trying to plug my stuff. he is simply offering some information and a little excitement about his new system. how about you take a minute and just say somthing like " Wow that sounds cool, glad you like it." why all the negivity?
if you dont belive then that is fine but don't just laugh it off like someone is giving you BS. that attitude will only leave you behind in the technology of car audio.
perhaps you don't care to learn anything? if that is the case then so be it. but if you don't open your eyes to new things don't be suprised when you go to a SPL competetion and someone there with a box like this blows your doors off and takes home a trophy. sometimes that is what it takes for some people to take you seriously.
Thats what fawking matters! And bass mechanic, why are you jumpin on my case? If its my fawking opinion, it my fawking opinion! You want to make me a sick ass box for $50 then we will talk... Thats how much it cost me to make my CUSTOM box for the back of my hatch! And as far as shape and all that goes, I talked to JL derictly and made the box to there specs! Im not positive, but I think they know what they are talking about (no sarcasm)... All Im sayin is in MY OPINION dudes 10's will not hit louder than my 12's. Im not tryin to be a BADASS or put anyone down. Im sure they sound great! and Im sure with all that experiance you got bass, you can make the PERFECT boxes. However Im not fawking rich! I am however very pleased with the sound quality and quantity of my system....THE END....
