Default Just changed Sub boxes

and im not pleased.
I have an s12l5 sub and now bought a sealed box. I had it in a vented box which sounded great but, it was taking up to much trunk space.
Now that I have the sealed box, it doesnt sound as good as it was.
Guess back to the vented box.

Hehe. Enclosures make a heck of a difference. It would take a lot of me to go back to sealed boxes. I love my vented / ported enclosures.

it just all depends on what kind of bass your looking for. i prefer sealed boxes for a tighter bass hit, but it also depends on what music you listen to

the shape/size also depends on how a sub sounds.

was the sealed box made for the subs? within spec?
also whats so different about it? does it sound like a loss of power?
if i remember correctly subs in a sealed box need a lil bit more power then in a ported/vented box

... how so?

The current line of Kickers are really geared more towards ported enclosures...
