Installing 6.5" speaker in a '94 Accord (Front)?
Was wondering if anyone has tried replacing the stock 5.25" front speakers with a 6.5" and if it was possible without much modification? I was able to replace the rear speakers with larger ones but had to mount them from underneath. Since the front speakers are inside the door, I'm worried that there may not be much room for modifications with larger speakers.

It fits a 6.5" perfectly... Depth is my only issue right now.

My problem is that the components I am fitting in are slightly oversized, and have a wide basket, so I am going to make 1" MDF spacers.
Yes, the door panel fit perfectly back on.

There are a ton of spaces you could put it. I've never put amps under seats... i don't think it's a good environment, and with winters, people loading up in your car with snowy shoes + electronics just won't mix well.
A popular place is on the back of the backseat... I really don't like mounting there though.
Currently, I just have my amps installed on my box (extremely temporary), but after a little while (have to raise funds to buy install supplies), they will be in their own amp rack.
Just take the amp out, and just set it on different places, see what works for you best.
