Um before I put my foot in my mouth... Im not quite sure what your asking... You want to disconect your head unit? or your alarm? Iether way they are both hooked up to your batery....Uh... the one uder the hood! Like next to the motor, were you put oil and coolant and such... The alarm system may be hooked up to the alternating curent generator.... Ok now I look like an ass... Go at it guys

i KNOW what battery is like and I KNOW where it is. in my car, it is sitting next to the air intake. anyway, i just called my installer about this and what he said was that the brain is defective and he is going to replace it. he also said that he has seen several alpine alarms, the same model as mine, do the same thing. so im not special. anyway, he will take care of it on Thr.
