Default please help

i wanted to improve my sound system and my friend told me about dynamat http://www.uscaraudio.com/cgi-bin/us...atalogno=10455 i have found some at uscaraudio.com i don't have any experience with them and i am wondering if i should buy them? do they really help?

It depends what your trying to do. It will help with rattles and resonance. What exactly are you trying to improve? Not enough bass? rattling? resonance? You can search for sound dampening. There are other brands that cost less and do about the same job.

But you will see a more drastic improvement if used in a Honda than you would see if used in a Mercedes.

Very true. If you look inside of a Lexus, or any other luxury vehicle for the most part, you'll see dynamat w/o the dynamat name. It's very similar in it's make up and design.

i was implying more as in a hatch or a truck or something of that nature. some cars have a steel barrier between the back seat and the trunk

and if it is a honda it the rattling is most likely from the tail lights or the trunk bottom or the license plate
