i have a 97 honda civic can sumbody me where do i run the power wire through the firewall because i have mines ran through the fender

to the right of the battery there's a grommet that you can go thru. best way i've found so far.

You can carefully poke a hole in the rubber and feed the new power wire through.

ok aint the hole like a rubber circle piece on it??????? because if so its a hard piece in that circle

Yea, it is a hole in the firewall. The hole is covered by a rubber piece that protects the wires. You have to poke a hole in the rubber, then run your wire through there. And yes, the rubber is very tough. But keep at it.

I think I used an Xacto knife to make the hole, then fished the wire through with a metal clothes hanger piece.

Just get a good gromet the tightens from both sides and drill a hole thru the fire wall and screw it in. U can go thru the rubber boots that are on the firewall already however it wont be sealed any longer. a good gromet will seal air\water out of the cabin.
