another speaker problem. loose? rattling noise

Its gonna tear again though, Problem being that you made a portion of the flex to rigid. It'll get ya by for now but give it a couple of months and look again you will see that it tearing below the glue (should tear away from below the basket). You can repair them some times but the rip can't be on the basket. Tried it before, if you keep the vol down it'll last a little longer but you will still end up needing to replace those speakers. If this is a three way speaker and its hooked up to a amp wire it so that you are not puting any base through it the lows will smoke you repair.

a tricked i learned from another installer is put electrical tape on the outside surface and apply silicone glue on the back. the silicone will bond it back together. it'll never be the same but that's a way to kinda save it without it getting reconed.
